Berlin Love Affair!

Some dreams for upcoming djs come true. After hoping and praying for years it happend that Sven & Tettero had their first gig in Berlin, at the WMF! Together with Joost van Bellen and Wannabeastar they took off at Schiphol friday the 3th of july for a short flight to Berlin Tegel. And it looked like everyone was involved..already in the plane cabin crew fans were there wanting to come by.. so they would be joining the adventure that night with us!
Berlin was fully promoted with nice posters all over the city. After some shopping, meeting dutch friends and nice new people, the taxi was ready for driving to the club and wowww...what a nice club it is!! Two big floors in an old office building, downstairs the live stage and upstairs only dj sets.
Berlin is familiar with late clubbing but not this night. People were gathering already at 2300 hours so the fun began early. After a short warming up from S&T the first band started, Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt. Their performance was hilarious with doing a pillow fight in the vip area. The second warming up set from Sven & Tettero was before Hearts Revolution started to play. And the crowd was getting warm! Throwing some electro-disco at the audience made them enthousiastic and the party started for real! The third set was the best to play, the crowd’s response was even greater and the tention at its highest..Peaches was about to enter the stage. And what an overwhelming concert they gave. The temperature in the club was (too) high but Peaches gave it all. An electronic rock & roll concert with great outfits, using lasers and a sort of electronic digeridoo, completely awesome! After Peaches Joost van Bellen and Wannabeastar did a rocking set. And S&T rocked on untill the last visitor couldn’t lift his feet anymore..so the party went on outside till late..

Playing in Berlin was a great adventure and we like to shout many thanks to Meubelstukken!
